Wendy Wade died, peacefully, at the beginning of November.
Wendy was a long-standing member of the FoAP, becoming involved when her husband Dave joined the Committee in the late 1990’s. While not on the Committee, Wendy supported Dave, as Chairman, at all the FoAP events and activities (teashop, May Fair, band concerts) and was a familiar and friendly face at these times. There is the old saying “Behind every good man is a good woman”. That woman was Wendy in a true partnership with Dave. Wendy also played her role in the community – singing with the Hoylake Choral Society (and acting as Secretary for them) and helping run the Friends of Grange Hill allotments society.
Wendy will be much missed by Dave, her family and the wider West Kirby community.
