You will have noticed the fallen leaves everywhere for a couple of weeks now; autumn doesn’t officially begin until September but it has come in the middle of August this year. The heat and the lack of rain have led to the plants and trees “giving up” this year and getting themselves ready for the winter. The lake has been consistently 8 inches lower than normal. Like nature always does though, they’ll bounce back next year. Enjoy the change of colours from green to reds, yellows, and browns.
