This year’s fair took place on bank holiday Monday 4 May (Star Wars day “may the fourth be with you.”)
The weather was not sweltering like last year but bright and dry and drew the crowd.
We had the usual funfair, donkeys, food vans, craft stalls, model boats, Vikings, police horses, dancers and singers, and more.
It’s the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Friends of Ashton Park and it looks like it raised a lot to do good for the park.
Well done to Jane and Arthur and team for their typical hard work. You should all be proud it paid off so well.
